Named for the century old, magnificent bacobab trees dotted around the resort, Sandies Baobab Beach Resort is located on the north west Coast of Zanzibar.

This hotel has a stunning beach that is unaffected by the changing tides so guests can take full advantage of swimming in the crystal waters at any time of the day and enjoying the magical sunsets.

The resort has seven different categories. All rooms are located on the ground floor with the exception of the Superior Rooms which are located on ground and first floors. All rooms have garden views with the exception of the Garden Sea View Rooms.

The Garden Junior Suites are one large room fitted with a king size bed and 2 single beds

The Beach Junior Suites are one large room fitted with a king size bed and 1 single bed and a sleeper couch (for one child under 12)

The Beach Gallery Restaurant
Serving buffet style breakfast, lunch and dinner and offering local, international and Mediterranean cuisine.Themed dinners are prepared weekly and include an African Dinner.
Open for Breakfast (07h30 – 10h00), Lunch (13h00 – 15h00) and Dinner (19h30 – 22h00).

The Pool Bar 
Located at the centre of the resort, The Pool Bar serves snacks, non-alcoholic drinks, fruit juices, local beers, cocktails, spirits, long drinks, selected wines, tea and coffee. Premium brand spirits are available at an additional cost. After midnight, all drinks must be paid for by the guest.
