KOMANDOO MALDIVES ISLAND RESORT

Small but perfectly formed, only 200 metres wide and 500 metres in length, Komandoo is a 40 minute scenic seaplane transfer from the airport but you arrive in a different world.
A lagoon of crystal clear water surrounded by tropical vegetation and a kilometre of white sand beach, this is an adult only romantic hideaway. The house reef is accessible by simply stepping off the beach plus there are over 50 dive sites within a 10 to 40 minute radius.

HOW TO GET THERE
Seaplane transfer (approximately 40 minutes) or a domestic flight to Madivaru Airport (approximately 35 minutes) followed by a speedboat transfer (approximately 15 minutes) into the resort.

All 65 Villas feature tropical décor, king size beds, wood floors and private porch with furniture and sitting area.

These Villas are spacious, individual wooden bungalows on the beach with a partially open-air bathroom and a beautiful view of the lagoon.

7 Jacuzzi Water Villas (Size: 88m2)
Located over the water, in the lagoon. Just a short walk along the private jetty to this secluded hideaway, featuring an enclosed air conditioned bathroom with a jacuzzi for two, Bluetooth sound bars, complimentary espresso facilities, a daybed, a private wooden sundeck with chaise lounges, stairs leading into the ocean, and some magnificent views.

8 Ocean Jacuzzi Water Villas (Size: 88m2)
Ocean wonder and elegance combine in this over-water villa, enjoy direct access to the ocean or while away your day on your private terrace as you savor unlimited ocean views, featuring an enclosed air-conditioned bathroom with a Jacuzzi for two, Bluetooth sound bars, complimentary espresso facilities, a daybed, a private wooden sundeck with chaise lounges and stairs leading directly into the ocean.

The Falhu Restaurant
Featuring  buffet style meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner, in the traditional open-air, sand floor, thatch roof dining room.

The Aqua Restaurant
The restaurant is located over the shimmering lagoon and features an a la carte international menu showcasing fresh fish, seafood and prime beef.

The Kandu Bar
An al fresco deck overlooking the lagoon, serves your favourite beverage and snacks.

The Thundi Bar
Located at the Southern Beach, serving selected drinks and cocktails during sunset hours.
