The Family Water Villas are identical to the Water Villas but have been designed to accommodate 2 adults and 2 children.

9 Single Storey Beach Villas (Size: 350m2)
The airy Beach Villas have a sea view and a private garden close to the water’s edge. The outdoor bathroom has a sunken bathtub and outdoor and indoor showers. Each villa has a private pool in the garden.

8 Double Storey Beach Villas – two bedrooms (Size: 410m2)
These two bedroom villas are ideal for families or friends, accommodating up to 4 guests. The stunning outdoor bathrooms are surrounded by lush tropical greenery and there is a private pool in the enclosed garden.

11 Family Beach Villas (Size: 375m2)
The Family Beach Villas have a private plunge pool, lush garden and a dedicated kids’ room with bunk beds. These villas have the same outdoor bathroom as all villas located on the beach.

1 Presidential Beach Villa (Size: 700m2)
The Presidential Villa accommodates 6 guests plus 3 children and is a sanctuary of luxury with a private pool, outdoor jacuzzi, personal gym and private spa treatment room.

The resort operates on a Bed & Breakfast basis with options to upgrade to Half Board and All Inclusive.

The main buffet restaurant & bar is open for breakfast and dinner and serves international food and features themed evenings and special events.

Jing
This speciality restaurant & bar is built on stilts over the water and features speciality fusion cuisine where East meets West offering Asian dishes combined with a European touch and is open for lunch and dinner.

Meeru
The beach grill offers a wide selection of seafood in an "al fresco” setting. It has a casual and barefoot atmosphere and is located on the beach.

Kaika Sushi
Open daily for lunch with a menu offering traditional Japanese sushi rolls, sashimi and maki’s.
Open for Lunch except on Fridays (12h00 – 15h30).

KIDS CLUB
Young guests ages 4-11 are invited to unleash their spirit and adventure at Constance Kids Club. Fully trained and enthusiastic Coordinators will lead trips of island exploration, local crafts, culinary activities, make sandcastles, watch amazing sunsets and stars, send their balloon wishes high in the sky and arrange treasure hunts. Discovery will be a key part of each daily theme.

The Maldives has a hot tropical climate and the temperature remains remarkably consistent at around 30°C year-round – that’s on the beach and in the water! The sea in the Maldives is warm all year round and the water temperature is an average of 29°C (yowzers!) The warm seas of the Maldives also have high visibility throughout the year; with water clear enough to see the passing fish as far as fifty metres away at times so you can enjoy your holiday, snorkelling, diving, deep-sea fishing, or cruising, at any time of year.

International flights arrive at Male's Hulhule airport, which is on an island of its own. Transfers from the airport to your resort island are either by boat, seaplane, or domestic flight, depending on the distance. If your Maldives resort requires a seaplane transfer, be aware that seaplanes only operate in daylight hours. The seaplane journey in itself is an experience, as you get stunning views of the atolls - make sure you get a window seat and that you get your camera out before boarding. The seaplane will usually land next to a floating platform, from which you will be picked up by boat to be taken the remaining few metres in shore to your resort.

The Maldives is 3 hours ahead of South Africa. The standard electricity socket is the UK-style three-pin, although there are some variations, so an international adaptor will be useful. The language of the Maldivians is Dhivehi and is very similar to several other languages from Sri Lanka, South East Asia and North India. English is also widely spoken in the Maldives.

If you’re taking a seaplane transfer, the luggage allowance is a little more restrictive than your commercial flight - you are allowed 20kg per person of baggage and one piece of hand luggage weighing no more than 5kg. Be sure to take along your best beach and casual wear, perfect for the day while a light rain jacket might come in handy in the event of the occasional rain shower and sunglasses and suntan lotion are a must. It’s also a good idea to take along a few movies on a tablet or something similar as the English TV channels in your hotel may be limited and your own goggles and snorkels – even though your resort will have this equipment available to hire, you’ll probably be happier having your own.
