Bali is so picturesque that you could be fooled into thinking it was an artistic masterpiece: rice paddies roll down hillsides, volcanoes soar through the clouds, the forests are lush and tropical, the beaches are lapped by the warm waters of the Indian Ocean and in the villages you’ll notice the quietness and wisdom in old people’s faces. Over 20,000 temples and palaces, coupled together with colourful festivals, music and dance is testimony to the island’s rich heritage and it’s all waiting for you to explore on your Bali holiday.

Kuta Beach – first discovered in the 60s, and once a sleepy fishing village - has now transformed into the centre of Bali’s nightlife and action. Legian is where the locals, tourists and expats all mingle. Bargaining, beach activities, indulging in massages, meditating or simply reading - you name it, it’s available on your Bali holiday!

For a island holiday where the emphasis is on relaxation, visit Jimbaran or Sanur Beaches; whilst Nusa Dua caters for the more upmarket taste and is ideal for families and water sport enthusiasts. If Bali beaches aren’t your ideal, then visit Ubud, where the culture and lifestyle of the Balinese wait to be discovered.

Whether you're seeking a cultural immersion, an adrenaline-pumping surf adventure, or simply a relaxing beach getaway, Bali has it all. So pack your bags, put on your sun hat, and get ready to explore the enchanting beauty of Bali. Picture yourself lounging on white sandy beaches, soaking up the sun's rays, and diving into crystal-clear turquoise waters. Bali boasts a plethora of breath-taking beaches, each offering its own unique charm and all at an affordable price tag.

Bali allows the opportunity to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and immerse yourself in exquisite natural wonders. From majestic volcanoes to lush green rice terraces, the island offers stunning landscapes that will take your breath away. Explore the trails and conquer the peaks of Bali's volcanoes for an unforgettable adventure. Wander through vibrant rice terraces and witness farmers tending to their crops, creating a picturesque scenery straight out of a postcard. And don't miss the opportunity to chase waterfalls and lose yourself in the tranquility of Bali's lush forests.

Bali has a tropical climate with temperatures averaging 30°C year round, making it a fantastic island holiday destination no matter when you plan to visit. October to April can bring heavy showers and high humidity, but usually the days are sunny. From May to September the humidity is low, and it can be quite cool in the evenings.

Bali is a sanctuary for those seeking spiritual enlightenment and a break from the daily grind. A holiday to Bali is the chance to experience true serenity. Whether you're a seasoned yogi or a newbie looking to find your Zen, there are retreats catering to all levels.

In Bali, ancient traditions are still very much alive, and the art of healing is no exception. Indulge in traditional Balinese healing practices such as Balinese massage, try a session of energy healing to restore balance and harmony within your being, or start your day with a sunrise yoga session, surrounded by lush greenery and the soothing sounds of nature. It’s more than a holiday, it’s a true transformative experience.

Light, airy, casual clothes are the most practical and you’ll find cottons or linens are the most comfortable in Bali’s often humid conditions. Pashminas or shawls and waist sashes should be worn when visiting temples. A warm sweater or light jacket can be a good idea in the mountain interiors. Shorts or revealing clothing are not allowed in religious places. The head is considered sacred and should never be touched.
