This resort is an eternal favourite and one of the most
established of Mauritian resorts, having been around
since 1974.
Built by the legendary Sol Kerzner, it displays all of his flair
for creating the right place in….well, the right place and puts
an emphasis on impeccable, but discreet service. It is very
possibly the ultimate in understated luxury whilst catering
for every need in spacious and gracious surroundings.
But don’t think there’s no vibe here; a lively resident
band plays 6 nights a week, the restaurants are gourmet
experiences and the grounds are pristine and welcoming.
The kids club is second to none, boasting all the latest
gadgets for today’s tech savvy kids. This resort boasts one
of the highest repeat business levels we’ve ever seen! This
resort will be closing for refurbishment and will reopen
in late 2017.
One&Only Le Saint Géran
A recently rejuvenated resort in the Flic En Flac area
that offers a relaxing Asian décor throughout.
The Sofitel ‘hugging’ bed is a feature in every room and, if
you can drag yourself out of it, there is an incredible stretch
of beach with beautiful beach restaurants and seafood
braais on the sand. It’s a great family resort with special
family rooms that sleep 2 adults and 2 children, with a kids
club that is open until 7pm. Don’t have kids? Then that gives
you more time to enjoy all the water sports, tennis, volleyball
and aqua gym or perhaps relax in the large Spa.
